Jr. Accountant/Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Jr Accountant/Accountant to join their dynamic team in California. This position is ideal for an entry-level professional or someone with 1-2 years of experience in the accounting field. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of financial transactions and reporting.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial records and reports.
• Utilize accounting ERP systems to ensure efficient processing and management of data.
• Collaborate with team members to complete financial analyses and support audits.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and budget reports.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide support in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and report generation.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements.

Requirements:

• Entry-level or 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Tech-savvy with experience using accounting ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.

Benefits:

Competitive compensation with a salary range of $27 to $35 per hour.
